ACC Liverpool is home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena Liverpool, an interlinking entertainment, conference and exhibition complex. Its facilities are unique in Europe - BT Convention Centre houses a 1,350 seat auditorium, 18 break out rooms with capacities ranging from 10 to 500 and a 3,725 sqm multi-purpose hall which can be used for exhibition space, large scale meetings, conferences or banqueting.

This, when combined with Echo Arena, gives event organisers 7,125 sqm of exhibition space. Plenary sessions can be accommodated in the D-End space of Echo Arena for up to 4,000 delegates while this space can also be utilised for large congresses of up to 10,000 delegates.

Two venues interlinked

The two venues are interlinked by a central galleria - the only design of its kind on this continent. BT Convention Centre's main 1,350 seat auditorium can be split into three and consists of two drums, each with a capacity of 250, which take less than 10 minutes to rotate, creating two self-contained lecture theatres yet leaving the core of 850. All three spaces can be used simultaneously and independently. This facility is unique in England.

ACC Liverpool is one of the greenest venues of its kind in Europe, specifically designed with the most energy efficient and environmentally-friendly green criteria in mind.

2015: new 8,100 sqm Exhibition Centre Liverpool

It is the only BREEAM and ISO 14001 accredited venue in the UK - the entire building is designed to be inherently efficient, with an insulation and air control system that requires significantly less energy than a traditional build.


In 2015, it will open the doors to the new 8,100 sqm Exhibition Centre Liverpool which will be capable of hosting large scale conferences, trade and consumer exhibitions, concerts and sports events on a national and international scale. The development will include a four star, 200-room, Pullman hotel operated by Brand Hotel Management.
